hohoho

just found the LAST ferrero rocher in my fridge. and it's mine. it's gonna melt in my mouth, and not in my hand.

went candy empire at vivo again. since gary returned from his operation, he wanted to spend money because he didnt get to spend any while recuperating at the hospital. was tempted to get the willy wonka choc and try it out. ended up getting the liquer choc, the one with irish cream as filling.

then we tried the flight simulator. and i crashed. i was only a few meters from the damned runway. wasted my $4.

reason i can stay up so late tonight is i've applied leave tomorrow. today was such a tiring day. however, i'm not gonna sleep in. i'll go cycling tomorrow.

i've also finally gave up playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. it kinda gets boring to just run around and kill people just because the missions are way too difficult for me.

i finished the Sonic the Hedgehog game in ONE day.

so now i'm playing the Miami Vice game. interesting. very gory too. now just waiting for ben to pass me more psp games.

"Be a man! Do the RIGHT thing!"

do the right thing? i'm not gonna pay $30 for a slice of pizza! i'll spank you for that!
so just leave me alone.

last sunday had dinner at fish & co. first time trying the seafood platter. kinda HUGE portions. even the two of us also cant finish.

what's the difference between an ang-mo fairy tale and a hokkien fairy tale?
ang-mo fairy tale starts like this:
Once upon a time...
hokkien fairy tale starts like this:
Lim pei ka li gong...

Perhaps it never really occurred to anybody that what you did (or said) might actually be very hurtful. perhaps even to the point that it spoiled whatever image I had.
It wasnt just heartbreaking, maybe it's a little heartwrenching too..

Somehow today feels like a lucky day for me. played GTA for 7hrs straight. now i'm having blisters on my thumbs. :-)
anyway the point is, i managed to find the Zodiac boat! took me three months but I finally found it under the bridge linking to the Leaf Link Golf Range! which was actually a fluke too. 'cos i was driving around in a cab when i mounted the curb and kinda got stuck on the fence, so i got out of the cab and wanted to jump onto the cab so that the rear wheels will touch the ground and become un-stuck. but i jumped too far and ended up falling all the bloody way into the sea.

oh well.

i'm kinda proud of myself too. killed a mosquito in my room just now. maybe i can finally sleep peacefully.

headache

everyone is equal, but some are moer equal that others. when i work no one cares, when i rest everyone stares.

*sigh*

oh crap.

my brain works really really slow.

yesterday on the train i saw this girl boarding the train at the yishun station. i kinda find her familiar. for me, it was another case of deja vu, and so somehow i kept staring at her and hoping it might ring a bell somewhere. a bell did ring, but it wasnt very clear. i know it was rude since the girl was also giving me the annoyed look.

anyway, the thing is, it took me all the way till NOW to remember that i actually DO know her and not just a simple case of deja vu!

she's samantha!! my upper secondary classmate!!
no wonder she dont recognise me. because we kinda fell out over the stupid door knob accident, which really really wasnt my fault at all.

i was just going through my wallet and i found a few interesting things. firstly, i found a neoprint, two actually, the other time when we guitar club folks went out and took the pictures together. it's all faded and some of the colour has actually got stuck on the plastic screen of my wallet. just like what i told emily last night, those were good days.

secondly, i found that i am suffering the exact same problem as ricky! i have more receipts than dollar notes! damn! i'm running a budget deficit here. negative Balance of Payments. spent way too much last month. somehow i keep forgetting that i have to pay for my driving lessons, so that kinda reduced spending power for each month. oh well, pay day is coming in three days' time.

"Gratitude is a disease of the dogs."
~Iosif Vissarionovich Stalin

on a totally different note though, many thanks to everybody who remembered my birthday. some of you actually had to remind me that it was my birthday. had it not for you guys, i'd probably have just spent it like any other day. which i still did actually.

thanks to michelle too for chatting with my all the way till around 1am plus while i was on duty. i was close to falling asleep. i just might end up doing what mr bean did with toothpicks and his eyes.

great chatting with tze too. although the sea breeze on my side must had sounded like a sea hurricane or sea typhoon. we gotta meet up soon.

currently hooked on reading Tom Clancy's novels. but after i'm done with his Jack Ryan novels, think i'll try stephen king.

The difference between a wise man and a fool is the magnitude of his mistakes. You don't trust a fool with anything important. But a wise man you do. and so the fool doesn't have the chance to make a big screwup, while a wise man can.

oh yea. i just turned 20. the big TWO-ZERO.

big deal. and according to Josiah, it's the end of my teens since my age is without a "teen" behind it.

Someday we'll know if love can move a mountain.
Someday we'll know why the sky is blue.
Someday I'll know why I'm not meant for you.

I wanna buy a ticket to the end of the rainbow.
To see the stars crash into the seas.
And if I can ask God just one question,
it'll be, "Why can't I be the one for you?"

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings! Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
~Shelley

I must be going crazy to quote Shelley...

oh well, Hakuna Matata!

anyway, life is such a strange thing, so permanent when one had it, so fleeting when it was lost -- and those who lost it could never tell you what it was like.

thanks to julia for reminding me last night that my birthday is coming tomorrow. that i'll be turning 20 tomorrow.

so i went to check today's newspaper to see whom i'll be celebrating my birthday with.

Giacomo Casanova
(18th-century Italian guy labelled the World's Greatest Lover, born April 2, 1725)
In today's politically correct terms, however, he'd be the World's Greatest Pervert Who Keeps Hitting On Women.

Come on. WTF.

forget it. i know it's a cold morning, but i'm gonna go have some Ben & Jerry's.
